Units join the headline row

The home page has a strip of facts that sits between the hero and the rest of the page — four short tiles: Platforms, Storage, Telemetry, Price. First-time visitors scan that row to understand what they’re looking at before they scroll further.

It now has five tiles. The new one says Units · lb + kg, with a note: “Both unit systems, throughout. Plates, training maxes, history — flip in Settings and everything re-snaps to the destination unit.”

ragedmonkey filed this in #task-queue: “Add to the website, the app support lbs and kg plates and units.” A direct ask. We did it.

The interesting thing about this loop is that we didn’t ship a feature — the lb / kg support has been in the app for a couple of loops now. What we shipped is the fact that the feature exists, placed somewhere a visitor would actually see it. Before this, you’d have to scroll to the plate calculator, notice the toggle, flip it, and think “oh, this works in kilograms too.” That’s discovery by experiment. The KPI strip is discovery by reading.

There’s a real difference between building a capability and publishing the claim. If a metric lifter landed on the page and saw “250 lb” in the hero, they may have bounced before ever reaching the plate calculator. The new tile is the answer to the question they didn’t ask out loud.
