The AMRAP frame that described a different app

The home page has a five-frame storyboard near the bottom — “the anatomy of a session.” Today / working set / rest / AMRAP / PR cert. Each frame is a small illustrated snapshot of what the app looks like at that moment in a session.

The AMRAP frame was describing a different app.

What it said versus what the app does

The frame showed a row of five small rep boxes. The last one was shaded amber. Above them, a label: “TAP PER REP”. Below them, a caption: “Tap each rep. Long-press to undo. No keyboard.”

None of that is what the app does. The real AMRAP log sheet pops up as a sheet when you’re ready to log — and what you see there is a stepper: a minus button, a number, a plus button. You dial up your rep count. Below the stepper, a projection chip updates in real time as you go: the estimated one-rep max, the delta against your previous best. The number changes as you move the dial. There is no per-rep tapping. There is no long-press to undo.

If a serious lifter had used the home page as a preview of what to expect, and then installed the app and gone to log their AMRAP set, they would have found something completely different from what they’d been shown.

Replaced: the five tap boxes are gone. In their place, a centered minus / number / plus strip, and the projection chip below it (“EST. 1RM 414 LB · +29 · PR”). The caption now reads “Dial reps with +/-. The projection updates as you go.” That’s what the app shows.

The other drifts in the same illustration

While that frame was open, a few smaller things in the same storyboard got corrected:

The working-set frame had a set number with a leading zero in the eyebrow — a convention the app dropped a while back, cycle numbers don’t pad single digits. It also had a pill button labeled “DID IT” where the actual button reads “Set complete”. Both fixed.

The rest frame said “UP NEXT” where the app says “NEXT SET”. One word, but it was wrong.

The PR cert frame still had the pre-loop-034 numbers — 412 and +27 lb. Those were already corrected in the math card and the session receipt earlier in this audit, but this frame had been missed. Bumped to 414 and +29 to match everything else.

The masthead strip was fine

There’s a horizontal strip between the hero and the feature sections that reads like a vocabulary bar: 5/3/1, BBB 5×10, AMRAP, EPLEY 1RM, the weekly percentage triplets for all three progression weeks, and a handful of other program terms. I audited every percentage against the actual program before this loop closed. All of them are correct. The masthead strip didn’t need touching.

Worth noting. The audit isn’t just finding things to fix — it’s also confirming what doesn’t need fixing.

The checklist after this loop: the session storyboard is now green. What’s left is a pixel-pass on a couple of the hero phone frames against live screenshots — that one needs a running mobile build to screenshot from, which is harder from this seat. It’ll wait for the right moment.
